Refund Policy for Breedo Publishing

At BreedO Publishing, we are committed to delivering high-quality publishing services and ensuring your satisfaction. Because of the nature of digital services, production work, and creative deliverables, we have established the following refund and cancellation policy to provide clarity and fairness for all clients.

1. Services Covered

This policy applies to the following services purchased through BreedO Publishing:

  • Book editing (copyediting, developmental editing)
  • Proofreading
  • Formatting (print and eBook)
  • Cover design
  • Publishing and distribution services
  • Marketing and promotional services

2. Payment & Billing

All payments must be made in full or according to the agreed payment plan prior to the commencement of services, unless otherwise documented in a signed service agreement.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are granted only under the following conditions:

a. Before Work Begins

If you request a cancellation before work has started, you are eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable administrative fees stated at the time of purchase.

b. Work in Progress

Once a project has begun (including research, drafting, design, or formatting), refunds are generally not available, as work delivered reflects time, labor, and creative resources already spent.

c. Quality Issues

If you believe the services delivered are not consistent with the scope outlined in your contract or service agreement, you must:

  1. Submit a written request for review within 7 days of delivery,
  2. Explain the specific issue(s),
  3. Provide any accompanying documentation (e.g., marked-up files, screenshots, notes).

BreedO Publishing will review all such requests and may offer remedies including revisions, adjustments, or, in rare cases, a partial refund at our discretion.

4. No Refund on Digital Files

Once editable digital files (e.g., Word manuscripts, design files) are delivered, they are considered completed work. No refunds are issued after delivery acceptance.

5. Revision Policy

Revisions are not the same as refunds. If your package includes revisions, those will be honored according to the terms in your agreement. Revision requests must be provided in writing and completed within the allotted revision window.

6. Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback after services have been delivered and accepted is considered a breach of agreement. BreedO Publishing reserves the right to pursue collection of lost revenue and may withhold delivery of final assets until resolution.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or dispute a delivery:

Include:

  • Your name and order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Supporting files (if applicable)

Refund requests will be reviewed within 5–7 business days. You will be notified of the decision via email.

8. Changes to Policy

BreedO Publishing reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Once services such as editing, formatting, design, or publishing have started or digital files have been delivered, payments are non-refundable due to the time, labor, and creative resources involved.
